Why My City is Cool

The Town of Montville established an Energy and Climate Committee at its March 2007 town meeting and provided a small budget. The committee has been working on an energy use inventory for the municipal buildings and vehicles. It has also been discussing how to engage the citizens of the town, especially students, in a program to reduce their own carbon emissions. The Board of Selectpersons recently signed the Mayors Climate Protection Agreement
