Why My City is Cool

Richmond is moving ahead as a Cool City.

These volunteers joined City staff on November 17, 2007, and had a great time planting 300 seedlings.

Other initiatives include the installation of tankless water heaters and push button lights on timers at some of the city parks. The Cool City Committee meets monthly at City Hall, Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Facilities. There is much more we wish to accomplish, so please get involved with us. Send me an email or give me a call. --Tyla Matteson
